Ijeoma Taylaur is a results-driven finance and business executive with over two decades of experience driving strategy, operational excellence, and financial performance across public and private sector institutions in Africa and the UK. She currently serves as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), where she plays a pivotal role in managing one of Africa’s most prominent sovereign wealth institutions.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Ijeoma brings deep expertise in corporate finance, private equity, business advisory, audit assurance, and investment strategy. She is recognized for delivering measurable value through transformative financial structuring, market-entry strategy, and due diligence across high-impact sectors.
Before joining NSIA, Ijeoma was Executive Director at Alpha African Advisory (formerly Travant Capital Partners), where she led the Gateway Services Division. There, she oversaw landmark transactions and advisory mandates spanning financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and business valuation for African-focused enterprises and multinationals.
Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Lagos and London, advising global clients across banking, energy, and financial services.
She serves on the following Boards in a non-executive capacity including on the Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company Limited (InfraCredit), Family Homes Fund Limited and NSIA Advanced Medical Services Limited (MedServe). She has also previously served on the Board of Continental Re-Insurance Plc in a non-executive capacity.
Ijeoma is passionate about Africa’s economic transformation and gender equity in leadership. She has previously served as Chairperson of the Joint Planning Committee charged with delivering the Nigerian Economic Summit Group’s (NESG) Annual Summit and as a member of the Executive Council of WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business and Public Service), where she championed initiatives to accelerate female leadership.
