Chief Financial Officer & Chief Risk Officer at Innovation Industries

Nigel is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of HPE Growth. In his role he is responsible for the risk, finance and accounting functions. He oversees the financial controls, risk management processes and the reporting of Innovation Industries and its investment vehicles, including the quarterly reporting to our (limited) partners.

Prior to Innovation Industries, Nigel was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer HPE Growth and spent eight years at Ernst & Young where he served multinational clients in a broad range of industries. After heading the financial controlling department of Dentsu Aegis in the Netherlands for four years, Nigel formed his own practice, through which he assumed several senior level positions across an array of firms on an interim basis.

Nigel holds an MSc. in Accounting and Control from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Additionally, he is a Chartered Accountant and holds the RA (“Registeraccountant”) designation, which is the Dutch equivalent of a CPA (“Chartered Public Accountant”) designation.
