Gabriel Caillaux is Head of Climate, Co-President, Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s business in EMEA. He is also a member of the firm’s Executive, Management, Investment and Portfolio Committees.

Since joining the firm in 2004, Gabriel has helped expand the firm’s investment focus across the greater European region to include Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He focuses on investments in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. Before joining General Atlantic, Gabriel worked in the telecoms, media & technology division at Merrill Lynch in London and New York.

Gabe currently sits on the Boards for Argus Media and ISS STOXX. He has previously held board positions at Citco, Network International, Gen II, SÉZANE and Santander Asset Management, among others.

Gabriel attended ESCP EAP European School of Management, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Finance.
