Steve is the Head of Investment Selection for the Portfolio Solutions Group at MSIM, based in London. He has 18 years of industry experience. In his current role, Steve manages the team responsible for sourcing, underwriting and monitoring public and private investments. Additionally, he is responsible for asset allocation in private markets and has led the development of proprietary tools and processes designed for alternatives portfolio management. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Steve was an analyst for Mercer Investment Management where he was involved in the construction of alternative investment portfolios for large UK pension funds. Steve received a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Southampton and an M.Sc in Investment Management from the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) Centre at Henley Business School. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
