Samson is Head of Corporate Development at Micro Connect, responsible for managing the group’s firmwide strategic initiatives and corporate finance activities. He is also a Director of Micro Connect (Macao) Financial Assets Exchange (MCEX) and leads the exchange platform’s market development efforts. Prior to joining Micro Connect, Samson worked at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) from 2018 to 2021, where he was Senior Vice President and held positions across the Chief Executive’s Office and Group Strategy. Before HKEX, Samson worked at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong from 2014 to 2018, where he was Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division, responsible for the origination and execution of capital markets and M&A transactions for real estate developers and investors in Asia ex-Japan. Previously, Samson co-founded a venture focused on the development of vertical farming and sustainable agriculture in Hong Kong. Samson started his career with Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong as an analyst in Private Wealth Management from 2007 to 2010.

Samson received a BA in Economics and Government from Cornell University and an MBA from INSEAD.
