Yu leads the Japan Private and Growth Equity team, mainly focused on IT services, industrials, real estate and energy including renewables.

Yu joined Goldman Sachs in 2011 as an analyst. He worked in the Principal Investment Area of Merchant Banking Division (“MBD”) in Tokyo and then transferred to Asian Special Situations Group (“ASSG”) in 2014.

Yu earned a BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo.
