Profile

A. Emre Buyukkilic is an investment promotion agency (IPA) professional with over 16 years of experience at the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment and Finance Office (Invest in Türkiye). Throughout his career, he has advised leading conglomerates, sovereign wealth funds, and multinational corporations on cross-border investments, facilitated mergers and acquisitions and joint venture projects, and supported strategic investment decision-making.

He has led investment promotion and investor relations activities across key Asian markets, including Korea and Japan, and served as Regional Representative in Singapore, covering ASEAN countries. In his previous role in Singapore, he conducted market analysis to assess Singapore’s outward FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) potential and regularly reported insights to headquarters, coordinated high-level government and business delegations between Türkiye and Singapore, and actively connected Turkish and Singaporean companies to foster strategic partnerships. He also promoted concrete investment opportunities in Türkiye—including government tenders, PPP projects, and potential M&A transactions—while executing targeted PR and stakeholder engagement initiatives and organizing joint events to enhance awareness of Türkiye’s investment environment among key international audiences. Currently based in the United Arab Emirates, he heads the Abu Dhabi Office, where he is responsible for strengthening economic partnerships and promoting bilateral investment flows between Türkiye and the Gulf region.
