Profile

Asif Khan is a seasoned investment executive with over two decades of experience across public and private markets, spanning multiple asset classes, sectors, and geographies. He brings deep expertise in wealth management, investment management, investment banking, and entrepreneurship, complemented by a strong track record in structuring family offices, enhancing governance frameworks, and driving efficient wealth preservation, growth, and succession planning.

Mr. Khan currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of Action Group Holding (AGH), where he leads the group’s global investment strategy. His responsibilities include capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and oversight of the family’s private wealth through its family office platform. He is a key member of the firm’s Investment Committee, contributing to decision-making on portfolio construction, risk management, and strategic asset allocation. In this capacity, he oversees the evaluation and approval of new investments, monitors the performance of existing holdings, and establishes long-term investment frameworks aligned with the family’s objectives.

Prior to joining AGH, Mr. Khan was the Chief Investment Officer of Astro Holding, the single family office of the Al Sayer family in Kuwait, where he directed investment strategy and execution across all asset classes. Before that, he led the investment activities of the Boodai family holding company, further strengthening his experience in managing large scale family office structures.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Khan spent a decade on Wall Street, working with Wachovia (now Wells Fargo), Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America), and several boutique investment firms in New York. During this time, he advised clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and alternative investment strategies.

In addition to his institutional leadership, Mr. Khan has founded and scaled multiple operating companies across diverse sectors, achieving growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. He also serves on the boards of several companies.

Mr. Khan was educated in New York and is currently based in Kuwait.
