Fahad AlSharekh is a technology investor and venture capitalist with nearly three decades of experience spanning Silicon Valley and the Middle East. He operates at the intersection of Silicon Valley venture capital and Gulf institutional capital, building structured pathways between the two ecosystems.

He is the General Partner of The JEDI Fund, a venture platform that sources early-stage opportunities through emerging managers and systematically scales exposure through direct investments, secondaries, and follow-on strategies. The fund provides institutional access to early-stage technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, backed by Gulf institutional capital.
He also serves as Vice Chairman of KAMCO Invest (Saudi Arabia), where he contributes to the firm's regional investment strategy and governance across alternative assets.
In 2015, Fahad founded TechInvest, a technology advisory firm that structured and advised on over $1 billion in private market transactions. Through TechInvest, he established a repeatable cross-border investment framework connecting Silicon Valley and regional sovereign institutions, which later evolved into the JEDI platform.
Earlier in his career, Fahad was Group Managing Director of Sakhr Software, where he led the transformation and public listing of the family technology business, and an investment banker at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York during the dot-com era.

Ventures & Innovation
Fahad's operating background includes leadership in Arabic technology and early internet infrastructure. He holds three US patents in computational linguistics and language technologies developed during his tenure at Sakhr Software. He was part of the founding team of AwalNet, Saudi Arabia's first internet service provider, later acquired by STC. This technical foundation continues to inform his investment approach in AI, infrastructure, and applied software.

Capital Markets & Advisory
Fahad has led and advised on cross-border transactions across venture capital, joint ventures, and public markets, including NASDAQ, the Kuwait Stock Exchange, and DIFC. He has served as an advisor to the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and as a board advisor to the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in the UAE.

Board & Governance
He has held board and chairman roles across publicly listed and private companies, including Al Mal Investment Company, and currently serves on the board of CODED, a regional coding academy training the next generation of software talent across MENA.

He is based between Kuwait and San Francisco, reflecting the cross-border nature of his work.
