Kishlaya Misra is a Senior Investment Officer in Private Equity at AIIB, with over 17 years of professional experience across infrastructure finance, private equity, fund management, government relations, and technology development. Since joining AIIB in 2017, he has led private equity and fund transactions focused on infrastructure assets across Asia, overseeing the full investment lifecycle—from project sourcing and due diligence to approval, documentation, and ongoing monitoring.

Prior to his current role, Misra served as an Investment Specialist in the Bank’s Investment Operations Department, working on sovereign and non-sovereign energy and transport infrastructure projects across Asia. Earlier in his career, he worked in Gujarat’s energy, infrastructure, and higher education sectors, including with a public-private government institution, and in the technology industry with Cognizant Technology Solutions.

He holds an MBA in Energy and Infrastructure from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, and B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
