Shapour is a Vice President, Energy Infrastructure covering the MEA region. He joined Actis in 2018 and has been involved in multiple deals in the MENA region in the wind, solar and gas-fired power generation spaces. Shapour has more than 12 years of experience in energy and emerging markets, having lived and worked in more than 9 countries across the EMEA region.

Before Actis, Shapour was a Project Manager for Sia Partners in Dubai, an international consultancy, with a focus on the power and utility markets in the GCC countries. Before that, Shapour worked for Lazard and Wood Mackenzie, covering the strategic and financial aspects of the energy industry.

Shapour holds two engineering degrees from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and IFP School and an MBA from INSEAD.
