William was born in the US but raised in Brussels, Belgium, where he obtained a BSc and MSc Double Degree in Business Engineering from the Solvay Business School and QTEM Master’s Network.

After interning in strategy consulting at the Boston Consulting Group, he took his first steps in the investment world as an Investment Analyst Intern at the Groupe Bruxelles Lambert.

Driven by a strong desire to get closer to the value chain of businesses, William then joined AB InBev, initially on their Global Management Traineeship in Belgium before coming onboard as a Sales Analyst in the Netherlands and then joining the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in London, UK for 5 years. In his previous role, he led the Commercial FP&A function for ABI’s Western Europe Business Unit, where his main responsibilities included the coordination of the monthly financial business cycle, the yearly strategic and & financial planning, and acting as a Finance Business Partner to the commercial organisation.

At Verlinvest, he partners with investment professionals, founders, and management teams to identify and deliver value creation initiatives across their portfolio companies. His mission at Verlinvest is to help consumer businesses achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional products and services to their customers.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family & friends, playing a variety of sports and travelling.
