Carolyn Hastings joined Bain Capital in 2008. She is a Partner on the Credit team and member of the Private Credit Group. Carolyn is also a member of the firm’s Credit Committee. Throughout her tenure in the Private Credit Group, Carolyn has held origination, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring responsibilities. She has broad experience structuring investments that span the balance sheet and has partnered with dozens of private equity sponsors to finance companies in the technology, telecom, healthcare, consumer, and hospitality industries. Carolyn is an active member of Bain Capital’s Women Connecting Network and serves on a number of corporate and philanthropic boards.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, she was an Associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners and an analyst in the Healthcare Group in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs.

Carolyn received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BSEc from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in biology from the University of Pennsylvania.
