Colette K. Young is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Welara - an independent, multi-family office and wealth advisor launched in 2023. Welara's UHNW clients are visionary first-generation wealth creators, and the firm acts as a one-stop shop across wealth, asset, and lifestyle management. Welara invests across public and private opportunities on behalf of its clients and has particular expertise in deep tech, digital assets, real estate, credit, and critical supply chains. The firm directly invests in Pre-Seed to Series B opportunities, allocates to fund managers in a variety of sectors, and leads its own Co-Investment vehicle. Prior, Ms. Young was Chief Investment Officer and Chair of the Investment Committee of Percival, a single-family office where she joined in October 2021. Ms. Young started her investing career at FirstMark Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm. She has dedicated her career to building bridges between traditional industries and digital markets to enable growth for all participants. She has been called one of the top young entrepreneurs by Bloomberg, Forbes, and The Today Show. She was awarded a top entrepreneurship commendation by former US President Barack Obama in 2010. Ms. Young is based between New York and London.
