Profile

Dana Bezerra joined CREO as Regional President, Americas, in May 2024. CREO is a community of climate-led sustainable investors—primarily single-family offices and institutional asset owners—who collectively steward over $1 trillion in assets.

Before joining CREO, Dana spent 18 months helping to build and launch Greater Share, a philanthropic investment company co-founded by senior leaders from Bain, Actis, and Simpson Thacher. Greater Share harnesses the expertise of leading private equity funds and high-impact NGOs to address complex global challenges through innovative capital partnerships.
Previously, Dana spent nearly two decades at the Heron Foundation, serving in several leadership roles including President. There, she helped rotate Heron’s entire portfolio—across all asset classes and grants—to align fully with the foundation’s mission. Her work involved sourcing and underwriting deals, cultivating partnerships across investor networks, and deploying both philanthropic and market-rate capital for systemic impact.

Dedicated to advancing systems change, Dana has also served in leadership and advisory roles with privately held investment firms, the Milken Institute’s Center for Financial Markets, and Duke University’s CASE i3 Advisors. She is a frequent lecturer at Columbia University’s Tamer Center for Social Enterprise and Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative, where she helps equip leaders to tackle society’s most pressing challenges.
