Gilles is the Founder and CEO of Chorus Capital and has 27 years of experience in the credit markets. Prior to founding Chorus Capital, he had been working at Goldman Sachs International in London for 12 years. At GS, Gilles was instrumental in building the firm’s franchise in credit derivatives, notably in bank regulatory capital transactions. He executed his first risk-sharing transaction in 2001, with one of Europe’s largest banks.
From 1997 to 1999, Gilles worked in the credit derivatives department of Swiss Bank Corporation/UBS in London. He was involved in the execution of the bank’s inaugural risk-sharing transactions. Prior to that, Gilles was a credit analyst at Banque Paribas in Toronto from 1995 to 1997, covering several industries including banks. Gilles holds an engineering degree (MSc) from École nationale supérieure des mines de Paris (France) with a Major in Project Management and Product Design.
