James Pade is a Partner and Managing Director at Clearlake Capital. He joined the firm in 2013 and currently oversees Clearlake Credit, which has deployed nearly $90 billion across liquid and illiquid credit investments globally.

Mr. Pade serves on the Board of Directors for several Clearlake portfolio companies, including BetaNXT, Chelsea Football Club, Confluence, Constant Contact, Dun & Bradstreet, Discovery Education, EagleView, InvestCloud, and Newfold Digital.

Prior to joining Clearlake, Mr. Pade was an investment professional at TowerBrook Capital Partners, where he focused on leveraged buyouts and distressed debt investments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pade held roles at Credit Suisse as an investment banker and at Google. Before transitioning into finance, Mr. Pade competed on the ATP Tour as a professional tennis player.

Mr. Pade graduated with a B.A. in Economics, with Honors in Science, Technology & Society from Stanford University.
