Kevin Kelly is a Director at RockCreek on the private markets team. Kevin is focused on sourcing, underwriting, and portfolio construction for private credit and credit related investments and co-investments.

Prior to RockCreek, Kevin was a Vice President at Energy Impact Partners Credit Strategies Fund, part of a $3 Billion venture capital platform, where he invested debt and equity in lower middle market companies. Kevin focused on investments to companies operating in the power, renewables, industrial, construction, business services, specialty finance, technology and transportation sectors.

Prior to EIP, Kevin worked for Nextera Energy Resources as a portfolio manager, where he was responsible for a Levered and Tax Equity backed, merchant and contracted energy portfolio, spanning a range of renewable technologies.

Kevin also previously served as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps, deploying to Afghanistan, Germany, and Japan. Kevin holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and a BA in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross where he lettered in NCAA Division I Football.
