Mr. Mittermayer is a member of the private debt team, overseeing the specialty finance and the structured credit and liquid strategies teams. He is also involved in the Firm’s responsible investing initiative, as well as advisory and investment activities for a number of the Firm’s private debt clients.

Prior to StepStone, Mr. Mittermayer worked for a Swiss hedge fund, focusing on company bottom-up analysis and portfolio construction/hedging. Before that he was research and teaching assistant at the University of Bern.

Mr. Mittermayer received both his PhD in economics and his MBA from the University of Bern. He is also a CFA charterholder.
