Nicholas Mairone is part of the Research Insights team at Preqin, where he focuses on research topics related to private debt. Prior to joining Preqin, Nicholas was the Director of Research at the International Swaps & Derivatives Association (ISDA), where he worked on issues related to OTC derivative market structure and regulatory policy. Before that, Nicholas worked as an Economist at various financial institutions, including over five years at the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. In those roles, he focused on issues related to cross border financial flows and financial system structures. Nicholas graduated from American University in 2014 and is a CFA charterholder.
