Alka Anbarasu is an ExecutiveDirector in Moody's Ratings' FinancialInstitutions Group, based inSingapore. She leads analytical teamsresponsible for ratings and researchon banks, insurance companies, assetmanagers, private credit and othernon-bank financial institutions acrossJapan, ASEAN and the Indiansubcontinent. In addition, Alka leadsseveral global initiatives focused onanalytical consistency and changemanagement across Moody's ratingsfranchise.

Alka is a regular speaker at Moody'smarket briefings, industryconferences, podcasts and broadcastmedia engagements. She is activelyinvolved in franchise developmentacross Asia Pacific and has played aleading role in expanding Moody'scredit coverage in the region.

Beyond her professionalresponsibilities, Alka is passionateabout community impact, diversity andmentorship. She serves as an Advisor tothe Moody's Foundation Board andTreasurer of the Singapore SindhiAssociation, supporting governance andcommunity initiatives.

Alka joined Moody's in 2013 and hasover 20 years of experience acrosscredit ratings and investment banking.Prior to Moody's, she worked in theFinancial Institutions Group at J.P.Morgan in London and Mumbai, and withING Vysya Bank in India.

Alka holds an MBA in Finance from theXavier Institute of Management, India.
