Christiane Würdemann is Head of Emerging Markets Energy Transition at Mirova, where she leads the firm’s investment and asset management activities across renewable energy and climate infrastructure in emerging markets. She brings over 20–25 years of experience in banking and finance across legal, commercial, and risk functions. She began her career as a banking and finance lawyer at Clifford Chance and spent 12 years at ING in commercial, restructuring, and risk roles. Over the past decade, Chris has specialized in clean energy and energy access in emerging markets. Prior to her current role, she led Mirova’s Impact Finance Services and worked closely with portfolio companies on fundraising, structuring, and strategic development. She now oversees the EMET platform and is responsible for developing and scaling Mirova’s energy transition investment strategies and follow-on funds.
