Hans-Jörg Baumann

Mr. Baumann is the founding partner of the StepStone Private Debt asset class and acts today as active Chairman of StepStone Private Debt. Currently, he focuses on key client activities and development of various business initiatives. He is also member of the Private Debt Investment Committee.

Before founding StepStone Group Private Debt in 1998, Mr. Baumann was a key function holder, head of trading and sales and risk management in Switzerland for UBS. He was also a member of UBS’s global trading and sales management board in Zurich.

Mr. Baumann received his MBA from the University of Zurich. He is also the Chairman of the Swiss Alternative Investments Circle.
