Harshit Agrawal is a senior energy transition executive with over 17 years of global experience across institutional project finance, corporate strategy, and deep-tech engineering in both the private and public sectors. Harshit currently support decarbonization and energy transition initiatives at The World Bank across South Asia and East Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining The World Bank, Harshit held significant roles at Shell and Petroleum Development Oman, focusing on energy transition and asset strategy. Across a global career spanning multiple countries, Harshit Agrawal has led major energy and development initiatives with a consistent emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and affordability. Harshit Agrawal holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, complemented by bachelor's degrees in Law and in Technology.
