Herry Han is the Founding Partner of Soul Capital, a China-based venture capital firm, focused on supporting tech-enabled early-stage enterprises.

Prior to founding Soul Capital in 2022, Mr. Han founded Lightspeed China Partners and is the co-GP of Lightspeed China Partners fund III, IV, Select I and RMB I. Mr. Han was also the Partner of Lightspeed China Fund I & II. In addition, Mr. Han serves as one of six global IC members of the Lightspeed Global Opportunity fund. He worked at McKinsey and Microsoft China before becoming a venture capitalist.

Over his past 14 years of investment career, Mr. Han invested in dozens of portfolio companies at their early stages, including Xpeng Motors (NYSE:XPEV, HK:09868), Full Truck Alliance(NYSE: YMM), FinVolution Group (NYSE:FINV), FangDD (NASDAQ:DUO), Sunmi, Lanhu, FanDeng Reading, Minospace, etc.

Mr. Han is widely recognized as one of the top young investors in China, and received numerous awards, including the “Top 100 Venture Capitalists of China” by Forbes China since 2019 and “Top 50 VC Investors in China” by Jiemian from 2017 to 2020.
