Ms. Jing Hong is the Founding Partner of Gaocheng Capital, a growth-stage private equity firm focused on long-term investments in Software AI and Physical AI. Gaocheng backs companies shaping the next phase of global technology transformation through the deep integration of software, artificial intelligence, and real-world systems.

Before founding Gaocheng, Ms. Hong was a Partner, Head of Private Equity and Investment Committee member of Hillhouse Capital Group. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director and Head of global emerging markets consumer sector, and Head of Beijing office of General Atlantic LLC. Previously Ms. Hong worked for Warburg Pincus LLC and McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Hong has been engaged in growth-stage private equity investment for over two decades, with a strong focus on technology-driven transformation. She has led and overseen private investments including Alibaba (BABA), Meituan (3690.HK), Didi (DIDI), Beike (BEKE), ZTO Express (ZTO), Full Truck Alliance (YMM), Momenta (6880.HK), EACON (7687.HK), Tuya (TUYA), ROBOTERA, Neolix, Hai Robotics, xTool, ZERON, VisionNav and Wuji.

Ms. Hong received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a B.S. degree in International Finance, and an M.S. degree in Engineering Management from Tsinghua University. She serves on the Alumni Boards of Harvard Business School and Tsinghua School of Economics and Management.

Ms. Hong was named Forbes' Midas List of Top Tech Investors for 2021, 2022, and 2023.
