Joanna Ossinger is a managing editor and head of Asia-Pacific Digital at CNBC, based in Singapore. She oversees the regional team covering business, finance, markets, geopolitics and more.
Joanna joined CNBC in May 2026. Prior to that, she was at Bloomberg News for 16 years in a variety of markets and leadership roles. Before that, she worked at The Wall Street Journal, TheStreet.com and Fox Business Network.
Joanna is President of Singapore's Foreign Correspondents Association and a past-President of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, where she has chaired or co-chaired the Best in Business Awards for more than a decade.
She has bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Classical Civilizations cum laude from Cornell University, and a master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
