Ms. Xu has 31 years of experience in venture capital investments in China. She has led manysuccessful investments, including Moonshot AI, Zhipu AI, JD.com, MeiTuan-Dianping, Boss Direct and Netease.

Ms. Xu founded Capital Today in 2005, which is one of the first independent venture capital firms in China. It currently has USD 6 billion under management. Capital Today's vision is to build business for China. It is dedicated to help Chinese entrepreneurs build No.1 brands and sustainable businesses. Capital Today is a strong believer of power of branding and power of compounding.

Ms. Xu was awarded one of the “Global Top Venture Capitalist” by Forbes’s “The Midas List”from 2019 to 2022. She was also awarded one of the “China Top Venture Capitalists” by Forbes from 2008 to 2022, “The Best Female Investor in China” from 2018 to 2023 and 2026 by Forbes.

Prior to Capital Today, Ms. Xu was a partner and the China Head at Baring Private Equity Partners Asia, and prior to that, she worked as an investment manager at Peregrine Direct Investments. Ms. Xu is an honorary trustee of Nanjing University.
