Profile
Michael Lints is a Founding Partner MENA at Golden Gate Ventures (GGV), where he leads the firm’s venture initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) from his base in Qatar. With over two decades of experience spanning Europe, Asia, and MENA, he focuses on cross-regional capital formation, early and growth-stage investments, and portfolio value creation.
Since joining GGV in 2013, Michael has helped expand the firm’s global reach, raising funds and guiding portfolio companies through later-stage rounds, acquisitions, and exits. He also chairs The Consumer Justice Foundation in the Netherlands.
Beyond venture capital, Michael is the filmmaker behind Broken Chains, a documentary on social injustice, and an active patron of the arts. A former national karate athlete, he brings the discipline of sport to investing—connecting capital, culture, and impact across global markets.
