Russell Wee graduated with First-Class Honours in Management with Finance from the University of Warwick and earned a double Master’s in International Management with Distinction from the LSE and CEMS.

He began his career in M&A at EY-Parthenon, where he was among the firm’s youngest dealmakers, focusing on transaction sourcing and execution across Southeast Asia.

Now, Russell is a Director at Jean Yip Developments, the property investment and development arm of the Jean Yip Group. As part of the next generation of leadership, he oversees the Group’s capital lifecycle end-to-end—raising and structuring debt and equity, managing liquidity and cash deployment, leading deal origination, and driving value realization across the real estate portfolio.

Alongside his operating responsibilities, Russell contributes as a columnist to industry publications such as Vistra Fund Solutions and APREA. He is also a regular speaker at international conferences hosted by DBS Bank, Alea Global Group, and PWN, as well as other global forums across Singapore, Tokyo, and Abu Dhabi, where he shares perspectives on real estate, family office strategy, and next-generation leadership.
