Saadia Hassan joined Findev Canada as a Lead Investment Officer, based in Singapore in February 2025, where she leads the origination and structuring of sustainable infrastructure investments across Indo Pacific. Saadia brings over 17 years of experience in infrastructure finance spanning across debt, equity, project finance, mezzanine, and sustainable finance instruments with sector expertise spanning renewables, power, transport & logistics, and digital infrastructure. Throughout her careers, Saadia has worked at the intersection of commercial viability and development impact, advancing inclusive and climate-resilient growth across Asia and beyond.
Before joining FDC, Saadia spent nine years with International Finance Corporation (IFC), based in Singapore, managing complex infrastructure transactions across emerging Asia. Before IFC, Saadia was with the private sector investment team at Asian Development Bank (ADB), based in Manila, leading and managing infrastructure transactions across South Asia, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Saadia started her career in private equity working in a growth capital fund based out of Dubai with exposure across South Asia, Middle East and North Africa.
Saadia did her Bachelors in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences and her Masters in Finance at George Washington University. Saadia is a Fulbright Scholar as well as the recipient of Commonwealth Scholarship
