Sathya Nellore Sampat is the General Partner at BoldCap, an early-stage venture fund backing outlier Indian founders building global AI companies. An operator turned investor, Sathya built and exited WeKan Enterprises, a CDP company backed by MongoDB. Having spent a decade in the US, his firsthand experience of the zero-to-one journey shapes how BoldCap partners with founders: getting in early, often as the first believer, and helping them navigate from idea to institutional scale. Across BoldCap's two funds, he has led 25 investments spanning $1B+ in enterprise value. AI sits at the core of the thesis, spanning autonomous work, frontier intelligence, and physical AI.
