Simon Lancaster is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a two decades of experience in the fields of Deeptech and engineering. He is the Founder and General Partner of Omni Venture Labs, a seed-stage venture fund focused on the modernization of engineering tools, manufacturing, and supply chain. Prior to his role at Omni, Simon was an early hire at Arris Composites, where he led business development from Series A to Series C, taking the company from a $40M valuation to $260M valuation. He also spent 11 years at Apple as an R&D leader and technology scout, gaining expertise in manufacturing, product design, and advanced materials. With over 50 patents to his name, Simon is a recognized thought leader in design thinking and deeptech entrepreneurship and regularly speaks at top universities including Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, and ETH Zurich. Simon holds an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
