Yuan Lee leads dealmaking and investments at Cento.

Before Cento, Yuan Lee served as an independent advisor to entrepreneurs and early investors on growth, fundraising, governance and strategic challenges, with a focus on long-term value creation and practical execution.

Prior to that, she was a partner at Susquehanna International Group where she established the firm's Singapore office and led venture investments in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia. She managed end-to-end deal origination and closing, and supported portfolio companies through challenging growth phases as an investor and board representative. Earlier, she helped shape Hubert Burda Media's corporate venture investment strategy in Asia and built its regional venture platform, Burda Principal Investments, from the ground up.

Yuan Lee began her career in private banking and asset management. At UBS, she supported the Wealth Management Singapore branch CEO and Chief of Staff as a business manager during the Global Financial Crisis of 2007-2009 before pivoting into discretionary portfolio management, managing approximately US$400M of private client assets. She subsequently moved to Capital Group where she supported veteran portfolio managers in managing more than US$4B of institutional client funds invested in Asian and international long-only equities.

Yuan Lee is a Singapore Permanent Resident from Malaysia. She holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. She is fluent in English and Malay, and conversant in Mandarin, French and Bahasa Indonesia.

A Malaysian with permanent residency in Singapore, Yuan Lee is fluent in both English and Malay, and conversant in Mandarin, French and Bahasa Indonesia. Yuan Lee holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
