Alex is a Partner at Trill Impact Advisory and Co-Head of the Impact Ventures team. He has over 15 years of experience in the impact start-up sector. Most recently he worked as Chief Commercial Officer for his previous portfolio company Resysta, developing its green materials technology, and prior to this role he was a Partner at WHEB Partners, one of the first venture capital funds dedicated to sustainability investments in Europe. He is also the co-founder of the venture-funded climate tech company Enval.
Before his VC investing career, Alex worked as an industry research scientist and as a management consultant for Boston Consulting Group. He holds M.S. and B.S. degrees from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Scholar. In 2003, Alex co-founded the Cambridge University Technology & Enterprise Club (CUTEC), a leading entrepreneurship society.
