Andrea leads the European Investment activities of the Japanese headquartered SBI Group. As Managing Partner of SBI Ventures Europe, her focus is on investing in companies that address the implications of demographic change, supporting direct investments in the fintech space for SBI in Japan as well as providing investment support for the 21 CVC Funds under SBI’s management. Andrea has been a professional VC investor for 20 years across four funds, and has led or co-led more than 30 investments. Before joining in SBI in 2023, Andrea was Co-Managing Partner at Knife Capital – one of Africa’s leading B2B-focused venture capital firms. Andrea’s passion is post-investment management with focus on brand building and globalization. Andrea has a M Com from the Technical University in Aachen (RWTH Aachen) and an MBA from Henley Management College.
