Dovi Ollech is the founder of Emerge, a prominent early-stage venture fund in Israel, boasting an impressive $400 million in assets under management (AUM). Emerge has consistently demonstrated top-tier performance, ranking in the top 5% of funds on global benchmarks. Among the successful investments spearheaded by Dovi are Crosswise (acquired by Oracle), Dynamic Yield (acquired by McDonald’s), Intello (acquired by SailPoint), Axonius, and Aidoc.
Before establishing Emerge in 2016, Dovi held pivotal roles in the public sector, serving as chief of staff and senior advisor to Israel's Chief Scientist and chairman of Israel’s Innovation Authority. In these capacities, he directed the allocation of approximately $500 million annually to support over 2000 Israeli tech companies. Dovi played a pivotal role in fostering international collaborations, notably as an active participant in the China-Israel task force and as a board member of BIRD Energy, a US-Israel fund.
Prior to his government tenure, Dovi practiced as a commercial lawyer at EBN, a prestigious Israeli law firm specializing in high-tech mergers and acquisitions, investments, and venture capital activities.
Dovi holds an MBA from IDC Herzliya and a L.L.B. and B.A. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
