Emma Steele is a Partner and looks after all things impact at Ascension including spending 4 years deploying the Fair By Design fund aimed at tackling the UK poverty premium. Emma joined from Eastside Primetimers, where she advised charities and social enterprises of various sizes and sectors on investment readiness. Prior to that she worked for 5 years in Corporate Banking at Santander Bank. Emma has a Masters degree in Development Economics from the University of Sussex and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics, Economics from the University of Warwick.
