Karma Samdup is a partner in the Investment Management Practice Group and Head of Private Funds and Venture in Europe in Haynes Boone’s London office.

His practice focuses on advising clients across the PE and venture spectrum. This includes advising managers on launching their PE/VC fund structures (acting as lead counsel if structured offshore) as well as advising a wide range of LPs (e.g. institutional, FOs, UHNWs) on direct and indirect investments and on secondary portfolio acquisitions/disposals. Karma also has extensive experience supporting founders and companies as they scale through multiple funding rounds from a startup stage right the way through to an exit. In addition, Karma’s experience includes acting for major corporates, investment firms and management teams on buy-outs, corporate finance support and M&A activities, including cross-border M&A.
