Leila is a founding partner at Kindred Capital, a London-based venture capital firm founded in 2015 with over $200M under management. Kindred is pioneering so-called equitable venture, where they share the profit of the fund (the carried income) with every entrepreneur they invest in - turning founders into partners in every sense of the word. Leila is on the board of a number of Kindred companies including LabGenius, Pollen, Polywork, and Portify, and she is a founding board member of KSF, a non-profit organisation focused on rare disease. She is both an investor and an entrepreneur, with two decades of experience building and funding technology businesses, including cofounding her own genomics business in Silicon Valley. Leila is a mathematician by training with a first class degree from Yale University and a Harvard MBA.
