Founding Partner at Kindred Capital

Leila is a founding partner at Kindred Capital, a London-based venture capital firm founded in 2015, currently investing out of Kindred Fund III. Kindred is pioneering so-called equitable venture, where they share the profit of the fund (the carried income) with every entrepreneur they invest in - turning founders into partners in every sense of the word. Leila is on the board of a number of companies including LabGenius, Gaia, Cradle, and RobCo, amongst others, and she is a founding board member of KSF, a non-profit organisation she started alongside other patient families to support rare disease research. She is both an investor and an entrepreneur, with two decades of experience building and funding technology businesses, including co-founding her own genomics business in Silicon Valley. Leila is a mathematician by training with a first class degree from Yale University and a Harvard MBA.
