Nate Maier, CAIA is an Investment Officer focusing on the Private Markets at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) specifically focusing on SWIB’s growth equity and venture capital Investments. Nate is focused on sourcing, underwriting, structuring, closing, and managing both direct investments and fund investments for the Venture Capital platform. He has worked in various roles on the Private Equity and Venture Capital Teams over his 7 year tenure at SWIB including leading a research project on private equity secondaries and GP-Led secondary transactions. Nate holds a B.S in Economics from University of Wisconsin – Madison and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
