Rachael has worked for bp since 2013, starting her career in engineering and operational roles in energy sector. In 2019 she transitioned to bp’s strategy division building experience in organisational transformation and low carbon energy solutions spanning renewables and power, hydrogen, bio-energy and carbon capture across use cases in industry and mobility.

In her current role, she is an Investment Director for bpventures. The team manage investment and portfolio management in early stage innovative companies in service of bp’s corporate strategy. This includes opportunity origination, deal development and governance roles in company management.

She graduated from Strathclyde University with MEng Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics (Distinction) in 2013.
