Throughout his undergraduate and graduate career, Colin Smith focused on developing novel stereoselective synthesis methodologies to access small heterocycles including unnatural amino acids. He joined Thermo Fisher early in his professional career, where he led the development and commercial production of drug protein conjugates utilized in clinical diagnostic applications. Since joining Aurorium in 2011, Colin has held multiple positions where he currently leads innovations efforts to develop technologies to provide exceptionally high purity products to serve the pharmaceutical industry.
