Daniel V. Santi, MD, PhD, holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from SUNY and an MD from UCSF (1981). He is currently President of ProLynx LLC, which he co-founded and serves as President, and a Professor at UCSF. Dr. Santi co-founded several biotech companies, including Kosan Biosciences, where he served as CEO and Chairman until its acquisition by Bristol Myers Squibb. Dr. Santi has published over 300 scientific papers and holds numerous patents.
