David Corey received a BA in Chemistry from Harvard University in 1985 and a PhD in Chemistry in 1990 working under the guidance of Peter Schultz. After completed postdoctoral work with Dr. Charles Craik at UCSF, David joined the Pharmacology Department at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1992, where he is now a Professor of Pharmacology and Biochemistry. David has published over 200 papers, is Past President of the Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society, and is an Executive Editor at Nucleic Acid Therapeutics where he handles manuscripts related to therapeutic nucleic acids.
