Feng Peng joined Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ in 2012 (Recruited by Tao Pei 😊) after receiving his Ph.D. with Professor Samuel Danishefsky from Columbia University. His research at Merck focuses on using organic chemistry innovations to accelerate drug development and reduce the environmental footprint. Feng was the 2019/2021 EPA Green Chemistry Challenge Awardee, ACS 2021 Young Investigator Awardee, and 2023 ACS GCI Peter J. Dunn Awardee. He currently leads the ACS Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable Supply Chain Team and is an active member of the ACS GCI PR Peptide Team to promote Green Chemistry Innovations in the field of peptide manufacturing.
