Frank is currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Global Head of Research for Sanofi’s mRNA Center of Excellence (CoE). Prior to joining the CoE, he was the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of the mRNA Therapeutics (MRT) platform at Translate Bio, which was acquired by Sanofi in 2021. Previous roles include serving as Senior Director of Preclinical Research and Process Development for the mRNA Therapeutics platform at Shire as well as holding positions at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Takasago International Corporation and the National Cancer Institute (NIH). He is a co-inventor on over 130 issued U.S. patents and more than 60 additional pending patent applications. In addition, he is a co-author on over 25 scientific publications.
