Josh Brooks is a Senior Director in Process Sciences at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where he leads the Process Control and Innovation group. His team focuses on Stage 1 process validation and introducing new technologies into GMP manufacturing to enhance robustness and scalability. Josh received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Rochester in 2012 under Alison Frontier, followed by postdoctoral training with Derek Tan at Memorial Sloan Kettering. He began his industry career in process chemistry at Ionis Pharmaceuticals before joining Alnylam in 2017.
