Mabrouka MaamraProject Manager at University of SheffieldSpeaker
Profile
As a PhD student and postdoctoral scientist, I focused on developing therapeutics for endocrine and kidney diseases, employing a diverse range of molecular, cellular, and animal models. My work included the design, production, screening and validation of mutant cytokines and antibodies.
In 2023, I transitioned to a project management role with Dr. Zoltan Kis at the University of Sheffield, contributing to research initially funded by the Wellcome Leap R3 program. Our current efforts address the critical challenge of rapid, large-scale vaccine production for pandemic response. We aim to enable high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing through the development and modeling of rapid-response vaccine production platform technologies.
